Native of the south of France, the family decides to move towards a new region (Auvergne) to dwell in a very old house (located near a little town named "Saint-Flour" in Cantal) in July 1999.

From 1999 to 2002 the band works hard to find his music genre, makes big music progresses, records their very first songs, learns some home-studio stuff and gives a real form, structure to their project.

In 2003 Towersound records its first demo album (10 titles) and creates its own websites (www.towersound.net and english.towersound.net). This year, the band also plays on his first stages, and the first radio interviews come... An association ('Towersound Evolution') is created to help the band in his official projects.

2004: Composition and recording of the first real and eponymous album "Towersound" (11 titles). Signature with the French heavy metal label "Brennus".

In 2005 Towersound plays many shows. The band members make a lot of prospection, find many contacts thanks to the Internet. The album is released on march 13th 2005 under Brennus. Eight radio interviews, they also appear in a newscast on "France 3" channel.

Towersound completes his parallel project "From Tears To Smiles" (easy listening and rock genres) during the summer 2006 and continues to work on his mini-album "Even To Heaven" (5 titles in the metal/symphonic metal genre).

The "From Tears To Smiles" album is released during january, 2007,
with a brand new website!

About 30 concerts including:
- Big open stage at the "Printemps de Bourges" - Concert show in "Région Centre" for the "Coeur de France" rally - Participation at the "Metal Bash" (with Dark Age, Paragon, Torment...) - Selection at the 2005 "Big Jama" - Winner of the rock contest at St-Alban ("Lozère")
...

About 20 radio interviews including:
- "Radio France Bleu" - "Radio Altitude", "Radio Arverne" and "Radio Campus" (Clermont-Ferrand city) - "Radio Tilt" ("Région Centre")
...

The band also appeared on "France 3" TV channel (at 8:00 PM) in summer 2005.

Brief intro:
TOWERSOUND was formed in Andelat in 2000 by Jean-Christophe et Laurent, two brothers
impassioned by music. During 2001, Flod joins the duet and gives to the band its actual line-up
They are aged from 19 to 28 years old and totally autodidact.

Jon : singer, author, compositor.

In perpetual need of creation, Jon, who tried a lot of artistic domains, understood quickly that music was the best way for him.

So he started to pratice the guitar and wrote his very first songs (in english) with it, he was 14 years old.

He also tried the piano and years after years, chose to become a singer, and a songwriter..

Born at Valence ("Drôme" - FRANCE)
28 years old

Lonn : guitarist.

At 16 years old, inspired by his brother's music universe, Lonn expressed the desire to play the guitar.

He started with the acoustic guitar then one year later the electric.

Completely addicted, he played daily and currently lives his passion and continue to progress in a big part thanks to his brother's compositions.

Born at Marseille ("Bouches-du-Rhône" - FRANCE)
24 years old

Flod : drummer.

Very young at the age of 5, he entered a drum school just after
he showed a real and natural interest for music.

After he stopped for some years, he eventually came back to drums at 13 years old and joined his brothers's band.

Our music is a combination of different styles such as Classical, Medieval and Celtic music as well as Rock, Hard-Rock and Heavy-Metal.

This diversity gives us the great opportunity to use a lot of instruments tones through our songs, some are modern: Electric and Acoustic Guitars, Drums and Keyboards, etc. and some are more ancient such as Pipe Organ, Flute, Bassoon, Harpsichord, Strings, Timpani and many more coming from the past... It also allows us to create songs with particular structures and atmospheres.

Thanks to that very rich music genre, we can alloy technique as well as emotion.
